The Function of Equal Diameter Tees

Balanced Diversion and Merging:

Diversion: Dividing the fluid in the main pipe equally or proportionally into branch pipes of the same diameter. For example, splitting a main water supply pipe into two branches of identical specifications to supply water to two symmetrical areas.

Merging: Merging fluid from two pipes of the same specifications into a single main pipe. This is the reverse process of diversion.

Constructing Symmetrical Pipeline Layouts:

In pipe networks that need to provide identical services to multiple directions or areas (such as fire ring networks, symmetrically arranged irrigation branches, and uniformly distributed water pipes in laboratories), equal diameter tees are the standard component for constructing such symmetrical structures.

As Inspection, Venting, or Flushing Ports:
