Drainage & Sewerage Pipe System
SIFFO provides durable and project-oriented HDPE drainage and sewerage pipe systems for municipal stormwater networks, gravity sewers, industrial wastewater collection, road drainage, culverts, agricultural drainage and other underground infrastructure. Designed for long-term use in demanding soil and environmental conditions, these pipes combine corrosion resistance, structural efficiency, smooth hydraulic performance and convenient installation. The SIFFO drainage product range includes HDPE Double Wall Corrugated Drainage Pipe and HDPE Steel Strip Reinforced Spiral Corrugated Pipe. Each product has a different wall structure and is intended for specific pipe diameters, burial conditions and external-load requirements.
HDPE Drainage & Sewerage Pipe System
SIFFO provides HDPE drainage and sewerage pipe systems for municipal stormwater networks, gravity sewers, industrial wastewater collection, road drainage, culverts, agricultural drainage and other underground infrastructure projects.
Unlike solid-wall HDPE pressure pipes designed to carry water or other media under internal pressure, corrugated HDPE drainage pipes are primarily engineered for non-pressure, gravity-flow systems. Their structured walls provide an efficient balance of ring stiffness, low weight and hydraulic performance.
The SIFFO drainage product range includes HDPE double wall corrugated pipe for conventional underground drainage and HDPE steel strip reinforced spiral corrugated pipe for large-diameter, deeply buried or heavily loaded applications. Pipe diameter, ring stiffness, jointing system and applicable standard can be selected according to the hydraulic and structural requirements of each project.
Applications of SIFFO Drainage and Sewerage Pipe Systems
Municipal Stormwater Drainage
HDPE corrugated pipes can be used to collect and convey rainwater from urban roads, residential developments, commercial areas, parks and public infrastructure. Their corrosion resistance is beneficial in continuously wet underground environments.
Gravity Sewer Networks
Suitable HDPE drainage pipe systems can be used for non-pressure sanitary sewer pipelines where reliable joints, smooth internal flow and resistance to soil corrosion are required.
Pressure sewers and pumping mains should use an appropriately rated solid-wall or reinforced pressure pipe rather than a non-pressure corrugated drainage pipe.
Road, Railway and Airport Drainage
Corrugated HDPE pipes can be installed beneath highways, railways, airport facilities and other transportation infrastructure. Ring stiffness, cover depth and backfill compaction must be designed for the expected traffic and construction loads.
Industrial Wastewater Collection
HDPE drainage systems can convey many types of industrial effluent to treatment facilities. Before selection, engineers should evaluate chemical compatibility, liquid temperature, solids content and whether the system will operate under gravity or internal pressure.
Agricultural and Water-Conservancy Projects
Applications include farmland drainage, irrigation return-water collection, culverts, channels and underground water-management systems. Lightweight pipe sections can be especially useful where access for heavy construction machinery is limited.
Flood Control and Rainwater Management
Large-diameter steel strip reinforced corrugated pipes can be used in stormwater mains, rainwater collection systems, flood-control infrastructure and sponge-city projects requiring high conveyance or storage capacity.
