Oil & Gas

With energy demand growing, safely and efficiently delivering natural gas to homes and factories is a top priority for urban lifelines. However, over years of service, traditional metal pipelines have exposed a series of persistent problems, including corrosion, leakage, and cumbersome installation. Is there a material that can fundamentally address these pain points and revolutionize natural gas transportation?

The answer is: Yes! It's HDPE pipes,HDPE steel wire mesh reinforced composite pipes (SRTP pipes) and HDPE steel skeleton reinforced pipes (SRPE pipes).

In the petrochemical industry, the transportation of corrosive media under high temperature and high pressure places extremely high demands on pipeline performance.HDPE pipes, HDPE steel wire mesh reinforced composite pipes(SRTP pipes), and HDPE steel skeleton reinforced pipes (SRPE pipes) are key solutions to meet this challenge.

All three use HDPE (PE can be improved to withstand high temperatures of 60-70 degrees Celsius) as the inner lining, possessing excellent chemical corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and low fluid resistance, enabling the safe transport of various chemical media and reinjection water. Their differences lie in the reinforcement structure: pure HDPE pipes offer good flexibility; SRTP pipes significantly improve ring stiffness and pressure resistance by embedding a steel wire mesh skeleton within the pipe wall; while SRPE pipes typically use steel strips or steel mesh as the main reinforcement, resulting in stronger pressure resistance and superior creep resistance.

These pipes combine the corrosion resistance of plastics with the mechanical strength of metal structures, offering long service life and low maintenance costs. They have become a reliable choice for transporting corrosive media and oilfield water injection systems, providing strong assurance for the long-term safe and stable operation of projects.

In modern gas transmission projects, HDPE pipes and their reinforced composite pipes have become the core choice due to their superior performance.

HDPE pipes possess excellent corrosion resistance, flexibility, and sealing performance, and are easy to install, making them an economical and reliable choice. In particular, PE100 grade HDPE pipes are ideal for modern urban gas pipeline networks. Their superior technical performance, economic benefits, and long-term reliability perfectly combine to fully meet the core requirements of municipal gas infrastructure.

HDPE steel wire mesh reinforced composite pipes (SRTP pipes) embed high-strength steel wire mesh within PE pipes, significantly improving pressure resistance and impact resistance, making them suitable for sections with high strength requirements and relatively complex terrain.

HDPE steel skeleton reinforced pipes (SRPE pipes) use a steel skeleton as the main pressure-bearing structure, combining the corrosion resistance of plastic pipes with the high pressure-bearing capacity of metal pipes. They are commonly used in critical trunk lines or applications requiring higher safety levels.

These three types of pipes complement each other and can be flexibly selected according to different pressure levels, geological conditions, and safety requirements to jointly construct a safe, efficient, and durable gas transmission and distribution network.
