In mining sites and factories, the transportation of corrosive media poses a significant challenge to pipeline systems, which are subjected to both physical and chemical corrosion under high-pressure conditions.

A key use is in tailings transportation, where HDPE pipes safely and efficiently convey slurry from the plant to the disposal area. They outperform traditional channels or steel pipes by resisting corrosion, abrasion, and leakage.

Within the processing plant, HDPE pipes facilitate smooth slurry transfer between equipment. Their smooth interior lowers flow resistance, reducing pumping costs and improving operational efficiency.

For water supply systems, HDPE pipes deliver process water, potable water, and firefighting water across the mine site. Their corrosion and scale resistance ensures consistent water quality.

In heap leach pads and tailings storage facilities, HDPE pipes collect and channel leachate to treatment plants. Their chemical resistance makes them suitable for handling acidic or alkaline seepage.

HDPE steel wire mesh reinforced composite pipes (SRTP pipes) embed high-strength steel wire mesh within PE pipes, significantly improving pressure resistance and impact resistance, making them suitable for sections with high strength requirements and relatively complex terrain. While HDPE steel skeleton reinforced pipes (SRPE pipes) typically use steel strips or steel mesh as the main reinforcement, resulting in stronger pressure resistance and superior creep resistance.

Overall, HDPE pipes provide a durable, low-maintenance piping solution for the demanding conditions of the mining industry.

In the field of transporting high-pressure corrosive media in the chemical industry, HDPE (high-density polyethylene) based pipes have become a key choice due to their excellent chemical corrosion resistance and flexibility. To meet higher pressure requirements, SIFFO pipes have evolved into two reinforced structures:

HDPE pipes: Pure plastic pipes with excellent corrosion resistance, but relatively limited pressure resistance (maximum pressure 2.5 MPa), typically suitable for medium and low pressure applications.

HDPE steel wire mesh reinforced pipes (SRTP pipes): The steel wire mesh layer significantly improves the pipe's pressure resistance (maximum pressure 7 MPa) and creep resistance, while maintaining excellent corrosion resistance, making it a cost-effective choice for high-pressure transport of corrosive media.

HDPE steel skeleton reinforced pipes (SRPE pipes): Its reinforcement consists of a precisely welded steel mesh skeleton, offering the highest rigidity and strength. The steel skeleton is completely encased in HDPE, ensuring that the transported medium does not come into contact with metal, perfectly balancing the pressure resistance of steel with the corrosion resistance of plastic, suitable for the most demanding high-pressure, large-diameter corrosive media transport scenarios.

Together, these three components form a reliable delivery solution for both conventional and demanding high-pressure corrosive conditions, allowing users to make informed choices based on specific pressure levels, media characteristics, and costs.
